Gwen Dies at Urban Villages

Gwen was a senior citizen with advanced Muscular Sclerosis (MS) who rented an apartment on the sixth floor of Urban Villages. Gwen was wheelchair bound and extremely disabled. In the event of a fire, Gwen had no chance of climbing down the stairs from the sixth floor. In any case, here at Urban Villages, Gwen was out of everyone’s way and, a good fire would have made her even more out everyone’s way.

Gwen surprised us by surviving a whole three days here at Urban Villages. On the fourth day, she died while taking a bath without anyone’s help. Now, Gwen is out of everyone’s way.

There will be no investigation of Gwen’s death. The police will perhaps overlook the wrong of her dying; after all, there is no blood splatter or gunpowder residue. They will probably even be misled by her estimated time of death. You see, Gwen's life was over from the moment she began living alone on the sixth floor of Urban Villages.

Urban Villages Makes Renter Homeless

John is a senior citizen who is homeless because he rents a home from Urban Villages. John (not his real name) has a lease agreement with Urban Villages that makes him liable for past and future rents but apparently does not require Urban Villages to provide him with the home that they had promised him.

John has done nothing to cause his homelessness. Although Urban Villages is unable to provide John with the apartment originally offered him, they do have other apartments that could house John. This however, they choose not to do.

Before John was homeless, he spoke about Urban Villages to a local network affiliate. Urban Villages has since made that home unavailable to John.
